David Tobin (26) is quickly developing a reputation as one of Ireland’s rising stars in classical music. He is currently based in Berlin and tours regularly as a soloist and chamber musician.
As a soloist, he has performed in Asia, North America and all across Europe, as well as being an artist in the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now organisation for the past three years, where he has performed for disadvantaged people from many backgrounds who are unable to go to the concert hall.
He has performed as a soloist with orchestra in venues such as Carnegie Hall and has played at prestigious events including Salzburg Festival, Lucerne Festival and the BBC Proms.
He is adamant that classical music should be brought to a wider audience and is keen to achieve this in the coming years.
